• Handset Test Channels

Clarification

– when maximum output variation across channels is < ½ dB

• either maximum output or middle channels may be used to determine test

reduction for each mode in a mobile phone; otherwise,

– when maximum output variation across channels is ≥ ½dB

• use the maximum output channel to determine test reduction for all other

product and technology configurations, including mobile phones

– Refer to KDB 447498 Section (1)(e) for test channel reduction policies based

on the transmission bandwidth and highest output channel 1-g SAR level.
